Keep it up, keep it up, no slacking now! :cheeky: You're doing a great job there Sliptip. It's like Deadly Shadows, only in Thief 2! :thumb:
Hey Dario, nice to see you here again. :D

Whoa! Those screenshots look amazing, they could almost be photographs.
I can't wait to see the finished mission. With that look it's going to have some pretty taffing good atmosphere.

That looks seriously good. Do I detect a slight HL2 vibe going on?
DrK on 12/2/2007 at 13:48
Well, once again you'll come out with an outstanding looking mission :D
Hopefully you decided not to participate to the horror contest, at least other authors will have some chances... :cheeky:

Nice window shadows. What is your setup, or is it top secret stuff? I'm guessing unrendered window shadows with spotlights to make the light is the base.
Sliptip on 12/2/2007 at 18:32
Thanks very much everyone :)
Nah the window effects aren't top secret. The windows are objects that let light pass through them. Behind them are the bars and behind that is the primary light. The window objects are also lightsources as well to add a little ambient fill effect. I'm keeping a close eye on my brush counts for this one!!!Not like in AA1 - where I got a nasty surprise towards the end.
It doesn't hurt either that the floor texture size is set to "14" and the walls are set at "15" - allowing for crisper shadow definition.
Spitter: I haven't played HL2 so hopefully I'm not copying it too much!

What is "the Dark Mod" ????
