Not much to report - I just got married last month so that took up most of September.
I'm trying to get something together this week for an alpha tester. I'm thinking it might be wise to release a preliminary mission to see how it goes over with the community. But I'm not sure how to do that and keep the story intact.

Regarding the FM, I wouldn't release an alpha/beta to the general public. I'd go over to the testing forums and ask for beta testers. So, you're at alpha stage?

I totally agree, I just didn't write that very well. What I meant was have an alpha test and then based on that finish up one of the missions and go from there.
Edit: This project's (S7) been at the alpha stage for some time now. The new weapons and tools have needed a lot of tweaking and unfortunately that sometimes means I need to make major changes to the missions terrain. This one's been a long road and there's still much further to go - so I'm really looking to shorten the project. The kicker is that it's meant to play like an RPG in some ways, which means you'll be carrying over whatever items/cash between missions. Which ultimately means they all need to be released at once.

Lol - no, she married me dispite Dromed. I keep trying to show her stuff and all I get is a raised eyebrow and an unenthusiastic "cool" as she walks out of the room.
That's ok though 'cause she knits, which automatically makes you a square in my books.:p
