Yeah, he knows that. I've learned that lesson from experience and have tried to convince him... ;)
. . .I also think it's possible we'll see two FMs from Slip this year.
Yes for both. . .very much so!

That's good news Sliptip!
And Russ, thanks for clarifying.

I'm pretty sure he's focusing now on
Strain 7 and will until it's released, and will then turn to one of the others.
Strain 7 is a completely independent, and futuristic, mission in the vein of KF2 but on a much larger scale. I also think it's possible we'll see two FMs from Slip this year.
So
Strain 7 is a SERIOUS mission, then? It is not played for laughs like the
Kill Factory series, right?
PotatoGuy on 20/1/2010 at 23:42
From what I've seen so far, Strain 7 will have a story, and much more ideas than in KF2. Trust me, even if it only would be for laughs, you would still love it! :)

Yeah, it depends on what you mean by serious, elkston. More substance and story than KF2? Certainly, and more fun toys to boot too. As detailed or serious as, say, Seven Sisters or Broken Triad? Not by a long shot, from what I know (which is limited, I'll grant you).

Hmmm ...
As long as there is some non-comedic story with a real conflict, I'll be happy.
I just don't want it to turn out to be smiley faces riding on conveyor belts.

I think you're good then. Unless Slip has changed plans, it's actually multiple missions, and there's even a little bit of RPG element involved.

And there's rocket boots! Let's not forget to rub that in on the thieving public.

No rocket PANTS ???? :cheeky:
Albert on 26/1/2010 at 00:23
Garett might be a loner, but he certainly doesn't want any rocket pants malfunctioning on him and screwing his chances of... *Ahem*, making persuasions with the tafferetes in the city.
