Don't mean to be a necrophile (last post 7 years ago), but I suppose this one is kind of MIA and gone? This one always looked amazing, but it has also been 15 years, so a bit sad to not see it finished (or even the unfinished rooms to roam through).

@Thor: Just curious, did my Ashen Age video take you here? If so, I'm happy it did as I knew Sliptip had an unfinished project but wasn't sure about the name.

Hehe yep! Love your videos, this one brought me back. I think he had another unfinished mission (

way back machine to scavenge for screenshots). Sliptip had another mission Fables of a Penitent Thief which was an old RPG style adventure, like nothing before or since (as far as I'm aware) in the FM spectrum. And then another futuristic project, also unfinished, which I don't recall as well but it seemed technically impressive.

Have no fear, I have the abandoned files for this project (including the updates he made later on after NewDark was released), and I know of at least one other FM author who does as well, so it is not lost. I have no idea when, but some day I will complete and release it.

Didn't there used to be a repository where authors used to upload their abandoned projects thus allowing other authors to either finish that project or use the unfinished map as a base for further development?
Is such a repository still in use or did it fall to one side as author usually make new missions from scratch.
If it's still there what other abandoned projects are lurking in the bonehoard of Thief FM's
