There's probably a whole raft of games that I haven't heard of yet or have forgotten about but here's some of the ones that I am looking forward to getting this year:

Must Buy


* (http://eternity.obsidian.net/) Pillars of Eternity | Featuring some of my favourite developers. Claims to be an old school inspired rpg with a deep storyline and updated gameplay and graphics.
* (http://www.thiefgame.com/) Thief 4 | After LGS and Ion Storm both went under I never expected to see another Thief game.
* (http://www.darksoulsii.com/) Dark Souls 2 | I'm still so far away from completing the first one but am still really looking forward to this. Particularly as I have just purchased a replacement controller, I can actually play the first one without dying every 2 seconds (now only every 2 minutes).
* (http://www.dragonage.com/) Dragon Age: Inquisition | I played the first one and enjoyed the first 1/3 of the game before it started to drag. From what I've read, the sequel wasn't all that terrific but I never got around to playing it anyway. I've become quite interested in the third one however after seeing a number of early previews and developer interviews.
* (www.thewitcher.com) The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt | Loved the first two. Can't wait for this.


Moderate Interest

* (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/inxile/torment-tides-of-numenera) Torment: Tides of Numenera | Although I enjoyed PS there were aspects of it that really annoyed me. Despite this I'm looking forward to playing this game eventually based on what I have seen so far.
* (http://watchdogs.ubi.com) Watch Dogs | Looks great and sounds exciting but will it be fun to play?


Undecided

* (www.titanfall.com) Titanfall | I haven't played a mech style game for some time so am interested to see what this will be like.
* (http://elderscrollsonline.com) The Elder Scrolls Online | I probably won't play this as I'm not into persistent world games but I'm keeping an open mind as I've played all their other Elders Scrolls games to death.
* (https://madmaxgame.com) Mad Max | Could be good. I just hope it doesn't become another Thunderdome.
* (http://www.wolfenstein.com) Wolfenstein: The New Order | I haven't played any of these after RTCW so am undecided.
* (http://theevilwithin.com) The Evil Within | Not sure what to make of this one yet. I was originally interested in this but what I've seen of it so far looks fairly contrived and uninspired.


I'm also really hoping that we will hear something about another Far Cry game this year.

I'll likely be getting a PS4 around springtime for DS2, Watchdogs, and maybe Thief.

Also looking forward to kickstarters Distance and Spin Tires.

In order of interest: Dark Souls 2 (must complete DS1 soon - just Kalamata & King Bryn to go), Watch Dogs (assuming it plays as great as it looks), GTA V, Limit Theory

I am looking forward to this thread essentially being a means for me to grow this list.

That's the worry. I have thus far enjoyed all AC games (only played as far as Brotherhood mind..), but since they already exist, could do with something in a different vein. I'm hoping Watch Dogs won't be just another Ubisoft "collect the map markers", overly-gamified template like Far Cry 3 was. I started out really liking that game, but it got tired very fast. Crossing my fingers and hoping the freedom they've created lead to emergent rather than repetitive gameplay.
