The Division looks great, I just have no interest in MMORPG shooters.

Metal Gear Rising anyone? It's only a few days now!
It's spectacularly good as far as I'm concerned, but I bought it because it's a Platinum game, not because it's a Metal Gear one.
I hope it sell ridiculously well and Platinum finally port Vanquish to PC.

I'll buy it once I know the port is ok.

Also, 2013 was notable by the fact that there wasn't a Dwarf Fortress update released, so I'm hoping we can expect a massive update in 2014.

The Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall expansion is due out in a few weeks. Eagerly awaiting that one.

Thief, The Long Dark, that Braid guy's puzzle thing for PS4 and any other arty pretentious crap.

Sheesh, really? The version I played this year was painful. I mean, more painful than usual for Dwarf Fortress. You needed a hospital to heal your dwarves, and the hospital had fortress-breaking bugs.

Half Life Three must in development though so this year we may well hear some news even if it doesn't come out.

That's the worry. I have thus far enjoyed all AC games (only played as far as Brotherhood mind..), but since they already exist, could do with something in a different vein. I'm hoping Watch Dogs won't be just another Ubisoft "collect the map markers", overly-gamified template like Far Cry 3 was.
Too late. Watch Dogs has the Assassin's Creed mechanic where you have to assault a tower to unlock a new part of the map (and the accessibility of any new missions there).

The only game that nobody has mentioned that I'm looking forward to is "The Division" the new Tom Clancy title. It looks really good and I'm interested in something military-esque that isn't quite so herpragheadderp.
It's a Diablo-like in the vein of Borderlands or Dead Island, except with bog-standard 3rd person cover shooting. Hardly anything to get excited about there.
Also I'll just laugh if you mention the "OMG HE USED A CAR DOOR AS COVER" meme (even the starter ship from Star Citizen puts to shame any other claims of X or Y game having a high attention to detail) or the recent Snowdrop engine tech demo (WOW, look at all those engine features that Crytek and Epic touted several years ago!!!!111)
