Hm. I can`t use the mask! TRying with the 1. version it worked fine, but now nothing happens. The oby. to use the mask is checked anyway. What happened?

I ... don't know?
I don't know what to tell you. Have you tried restarting the mission and trying again?

Many, MANY hats off to the CoSaS team. This is an incredible production, and it's way, way up there in my mind as one of the most extraordinary fan productions I've ever seen. The amount of care and detail and love that was poured into this project is astonishing.
Seriously, you guys. Major admiration is due!

I have attempted to seed some torrents of the main downloads. [...] in order to see if it has worked I need people to try and download them..
biker
Thank you for doing that, Bikerdude. Here are my results so far.
The second torrent download, the one with the manual, has stopped working now after a few minutes of slow download activity. The bittornado client for Debian Linux 4, which I'm using, tells me that I've downloaded 0.06 MiB of 5.37 MiB, 1.2%. It says I am connected to 1 peer and 0 seeds. For about 40 minutes now, this did not change.
The first one worked for about 40 minutes. The bittornado client reported several connections to peers and seeds. 37 MiB were downloaded and 14 MiB uploaded.
However, the download rate was very slow, about 11 kB/s. When I used a standard download link, the whole 320 megabytes went here in much less than an hour. And meanwhile, even the first torrent download has stopped working.
After the first link stopped as well, the client reports 1 peer and 0 seeds, just like it did with the other link.
I am behind a router doing network address translation (NAT). The router's firewall just blocks a few specific ports, none of these being the ones bittornado uses (unless the manual is wrong). Since both links worked at first (including uplink), I guess the router is not the problem here.

I had the good pleasure of testing out the first beta patch, and the displeasure of not having enough time to contribute to the next two releases...
One thing I can say for a certainty though, was just how over-the-top professional Digital Nightfall was, as he was more than understanding in regards to the Real Life issues that played interference with my abilities to contribute more.
This latest release, just look at it! I mean, who wouldn't want to contribute something towards such a professional soaked-with-love-and-sweat endeavor?
I don't know how, but I've got to find a way to squeak some time in to play this gem again... Perhaps I'll need a steady stream of energy drinks tomorrow to get me through the day. :cheeky:
Congrats team, on what I'm sure is an exceptional experience.

Kyle, over the top professional sounds scary. I like to think I am pretty laid back. ;) But thanks! :D
It would help if I could get utorrent to simply use the file I already have to seed the file, rather than making me download it through the torrent first.
Thanks for the kind words, Spiders. :)

@baeuchlein:
If there is no seeder, and only yourself as a peer, there can't be any progress. Even if there is another peer with the same set of chunks, there will be no more progress until someone joins, who has some other set of chunks (or seeds). The problem is not on your side ;) you'll need someone to seed the torrent.
@Digital Nightfall:
I'm not using µtorrent, but with bttornado I can start the torrent, wait for a few chunks do be downloaded, then terminate the program and replace the file downloaded so far with the complete version, and finally restart the program. It now checks the file and (if its checksum matches the one provided by the torrent) it starts seeding. Try this with µtorrent, but use a copy of your original file!
