Hi, I've just started your FM today and I've noticed one visual bug :
just after the first sluice gate I need to open,
the water texture is hatched and flashes when I move the mouse.
It's like when two textures are superposed.
Did somebody have the same bug ?

Yes I did notice that, although I wasn't sure if it was a bug or slightly intentional or not. But it didn't look right.

It's a case of "that's the best I can do with this engine", if you mean the running water that flows in as the water level rises. That's a separate water thing that fades out as it finishes up, and it can be a little glitchy.
Actually, all of the visible water in this mission is completely fake - it's made of flat surfaces with animated textures, that can move around to make water levels look like they rise and fall. The actual water itself (that makes the bubble meter appear, etc.) is completely invisible. Which is why you enter game mode in Dromed and jump into the "water" in the Sector 14 reservoir that gets drained later, you go right down to the bottom breathing air... there's no actual water there.

Definitely better in color, much easier to navigate than I remember the original being.
The cutscene with the hammers fighting the haunts kind of went weird for me though. There was one archer haunt left and it took the hammers about 2 minutes to find it because it was in the dark and even though it was shooting them and it created a light source on itself every time it did, they couldn't see it until one of them wandered into it in the dark.

Kinda stuck...
I'm in section 13 near the drain, which is still closed. A handy glyph opened a trap door, possibly a vent, in the ceiling of a locked room; I presume I would drop down through that hatch into the room, thus allowing me to activate the machine that would open the grating for the drain.
The problem is, I have no idea how to get into that vent, or whatever it is. Anybody got a hint?
Thanks!

There should be a hidden keeper study further west. Check there.
This is a great mission. Just finished ghosting it. Report might be up tonight. :D
You doing any ghosting these days, Dafydd?
Dafydd on 11/1/2015 at 03:21
I always ghost, or at least start ghosting; I don't do the reports anymore, however .
If a mission is unghostable, I ghost as much as I can figure out. Occasionally, as in Death's Turbid Veil, I don't ghost, simply because it's too messy. (In this case, what happens after Garrett gets his spiffy new sword.) But I might go back sometime and actually ghost it.
I'll hunt for that Keeper love-shack. Thanks!
Edit: I've seen only two glyphs so far: The one at the beginning, along the haunt's path, leading to the lever that opens the gates between sections 12 and 13 (where I got an oral hint about the glyphs), and then this second one that opened the trap door above. I can't find anything else westward that looks like a glyph, on wall nor water nor ceiling. Either I'm blind, or this is unusually well hidden.

Finished, but I missed two secrets -- and I'm not even sure what was the one I found. Are they all fake walls with associated glyphs?
Does anyone have a list of the secrets? Thanks!

Click the link to my ghost report in the post above. At the top of that site is a link to the loot list which also has equipment and secrets listed.
