I hope you are still considering an update. I'm starting it now and am noticing a lot of walls, floors and ceilings with the same texture. Mix things up a bit and add a bit more variety.
Mansions are always full of secret places. Consider adding a few to increase the player's interest. A good objective would be to "Find all 5 secrets." You get the idea.

I'd really like to make a whole new mission from scratch at some point, and to focus more on really capturing the detail and atmosphere of a place.
I went through and tried to make the ceilings all wood, but I didn't want them to be rope-arrow friendly, but then, if I used the ceilings that don't accept rope arrows, that seemed broken, too. So I just kept them as stone. I went back and forth over that for a while, but it was important to me to maintain a sense of integrity to the simulation.
If I started a new mission, I'd like to plan in the materials and wooden surfaces, etc, from the start, and make sure everything that's wooden can be rope-arrowed, and just plan out how the whole level works to support those play options.
Thanks for the thoughts! I'd definitely like to add in more secrets, and idiosyncrasies, if creating a new level. But I don't have any plans to come back to this one, I don't think. But you never know!
