You're getting warmer then. In fact you're just about on top of it. I've sent you a pm.

Thanks a lot :thumb: , that's the last place I would have thought of checking... :o
LarryG on 12/1/2012 at 13:51
Mission after mission I would check for that and never did I find one, so I figured if I made one and used it in my mission, it might not be easy for folk to find. :ebil:

I haven't been able to find a moving sarcophagus in the necropolis. I found a ladder behind one that took me to a stack of sarcophagi with the health rattle on top. Where is the one that will take me to the burial chamber?
Also, I saw a few weeks ago that a link to a walkthrough would be forthcoming. Was it ever posted?

Check the sarcophagi in the corridors. If you need a spoiler, PM me.

I don't know about a walkthrough, but I do plan to post as complete a set of hints, spoilers and lootlists as I can. I just need the time to put it together.

Where can I find the key to the Necropolis?
nickie on 13/1/2012 at 06:58
You need to complete the Grimoria Necromantica objective for that gate to open.
Azaran on 13/1/2012 at 07:01
Ok thanks, I completed all my other (mandatory) objectives, and I checked the library record that says the Grimoria is in a safe in the attic. I'm in the attic now, I searched every nook and cranny but I can't find it :(
nickie on 13/1/2012 at 07:13
Hint 1 Walk every place you can get to in the attic, at the right location, you will hear the sound of a glyph activating
Hint 2 Look at the map of the attic, there is a void in the center which is not labeled

LarryG, thank you for some wonderful hours of immersive gameplay!
I was quite fascinated by the large amount of "background lore" you put together in the many readables. To put it short - that made the mission feel very realistic. Those books really felt real.
Of course that comes with a drawback too - at some point it got a bit too tedious for me to read everything. So I admit that after a while I started to skim pages, and only re-read books completely if there was a scratching/note-taking sound.
Best moments in this mission:
When I first read about "Aeschers endless stairs", I really had to laugh out load, and knew quite well what was awaiting; great allusion to M.C.Escher.
Finding the blueprints to the ... upgrade.
Working out the attic code without board help :)
The babelfish reference... again had to laugh; I'm such a fan of THHGTTG.
Marvelling at the many details and artwork you put in. Loved the bird.
Problems I encountered:
At the very start (expert), I couldn't find out how to access the scroll. I EVEN THOUGHT of hitting it with an arrow for a second, but quickly abandoned that, thinking "this only works in TDM"... had to consult the forum to put me back to that original idea.
The crying baby optional objective - for me too the game crashed to the desktop after completing it. Your replacement sound files fixed that though.
I read about an "all magic spells" bonus objective - I created the 2 spells from the classroom book (gas arrow, invis.-speed-potion) as well as the 4 "lost" spells (fireproof, minor toxic, petrify, lockpicky), but didn't get that bonus. Did I miss some other spell recipe?
Still have to work out the third way to climb EAeschers stairs... so far I only mastered a hmm.. "acrobatic" and a "wise" way. Any hint for "strong"?
Finished with all secrets, but still about 500 short on loot.
You made an excellent mission, and I can barely wait for the next part.
Thank you!
