Replaying some old missions and very much enjoying this one again.
Judging by the readables, LarryG must know a bit about Pway...

That´s great news Larry. you can count on me for the betatesting when needed.
I still use your betatesters cup for Finals at the Academy.

Stop! Wait! Mission just have finished at the... well... middle of the mission.
So I've climbed to the top of the endless stair and drank that mushroom tincture and... end. The mission is done. Main menu.
Is it bug or that is really all?

That is correct. This is the first mission in a campaign, and the story is meant to continue from there. The next mission hasn't been released yet, but as far as I know, LarryG is still planning to release it.

Last I heard from Larry, progress was pretty much halted on the subsequent missions, but we can always hope he gets them done some day.

Alas. I'm currently stuck on the 2nd mission with an issue needing some custom script work, and without anyone who can do it. With that, it could be completed and ready for beta in a few months. And it's been in that state for over a year. The third mission is not quite as far along. The map is done and some clever tricks too, but not much of the rest. It is more like 9 months to a year away from the date I can get back to it.
Right now, I'm pursuing another true dream of mine. At one time I was a young amateur magician. I was good enough to pass the audition and become a magician member of Academy of Magical Arts and Sciences (aka the Magic Castle in Hollywood, the premier private club for magicians in the United States). Then life, love, duty, and mischance got involved. I had to drop the legerdemain, pay a mortgage, put a couple of kids through college, and so on. In 2018, though, I retired, and since I was stalled with the technical issues on True Dreams and I was burned out with Graduation (the third mission), I decided to devote myself back to finding out what sort of magic my aged and arthritic body was still capable of. Thirty-seven years after stopping working on magic, I resumed my study of the art, slowly putting together an act that I could be proud of. A year and a half later, I am entertaining guests regularly at the Castle, and learning more every day about how deep and wide the ocean called prestidigitation actually is. Simply put, I'm having a ball performing for rich, inebriated strangers who seem to have fun watching my rather odd magical performances and interacting with me at the club. I'm not yet doing the act that I want to do, but I have enough material and skill with it to perform, testing out my ideas in that wonderful laboratory called the Magic Castle. The pieces of the puzzle that make up the vision of my close-up act are slowly falling into place. Maybe in another year I'll be ready with that act ...
But if some scriptwriter wanted to help out with a little custom coding, I would make time to finish the 2nd mission. So PM me and we can talk it over if that sounds interesting. Maybe that mission could get into beta this year ... with a little help from my friends.

Wonderful to hear from you, Larry, and great to hear the magic is going well. :)

just replayed this mission and still amazing as ever but i got some questions what is the spanner used for?,also i think i ended up making 3 recipes how many are there in all
also is there going to be a part 2?
and the bottle at end was amazing to look at
and so many items had no use? i know use for gold ribbon :) and bell and garrett quill, and some had uses for making things in cauldron ,but seems a lot of item were for no use?

@downwinder: For your first question, there's a note in one of the teacher's quarters (the northeast one) asking that the spanner be returned to the janitor's workshop. After you read the note and drop the spanner in the workshop, you'll trigger a bonus objective.
Regarding the spell recipes, there are 7 in total. I believe the purpose of all the extra items was simply to make solving the recipes more challenging, because you'd have to actually sleuth out which items fit the recipes instead of relying on trial-and-error.
Hope LarryG is doing well. I also look forward to playing the rest of this series whenever he's able to finish it.
