If they ever have an "Asshole Thief FM Contest" you got my vote, Haplo. I never had to load so many times in my life.

taffer19, that was rude and uncalled! :nono: Comments like that are totally useless and offensive. If you don't enjoy a mission, at least have the decency to write a proper post, detailing what your criticisms are and do it in a polite manner. It takes a lot of time and effort to make a mission and that deserves some respect.

Funny. It was one of my most memorable and liked missions for it's dropped glow (challenge) to the definition of crazy. It also introduced me to a very awesome song, despite that I disliked the main noise being played through the mission (which was also so memorable I actually remember it fondly).
Get out.

A "Proper" Post for Criticism

No, a proper criticism post is just not be a complete ass.
The Acid Trip still is my favorite Haplo FM, due to its amazing absurdism, the ideas, the atmosphere and the music. I love the mission. You apparently don't. Then just say so in a polite way, and explain what you didn't like about it, instead of sounding like a whining child like now.

Way to misinterpret and overexaggerate something in the worst way possible.
Really now, gtfo.

Even though I'm posting on an old thread I think it's worth putting some feedback down for this great little mission. :)
I admit, you need to have a lot of patience to get through it, especially when all those Hammer/octopus guards do their rounds in such a cramped area (expert).
However, the zany art, interesting situations you end up and the music that comes on once you get to the end is worth all the effort. In my opinion.
Great Job Haplo! :thumb:

Thanks, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Whoo, this is definitely a different experience. Right now I've used the earth talisman, gone through the wall and read the scroll. There's no key, what do I do now?
Generally, I dislike keyhunt maps, and this is one of them. I feel that searching every nook and cranny for a thing, or getting confused and requiring outside assistance, lowers my enjoyment of the mission.
But the wild and wacky-ness really works, if you go in accepting that it's not your average thief game. I had fun!
EDIT: Got the door open. I just had to re-read the scroll, didn't take the first time.
