Congratulations on the release of your FM, Haplo.
For those of you having trouble ghosting, time your moves by watching the route the AI's make, then run like ****. They don't seem to notice your footsteps. If I could ghost this mission, I venture to say everyone could with
some patience.
This FM is a different concept, and true, the music made me frantic, but appropriate IMHO..... I turned the volume way down. :sly:
Thanks for giving us something different Haplo. It may not appeal to everyone, but it certainly is a creative idea.

Yeah, but that ghosting got so annoying I decided just to "arrest" those nasty haunts. ;)

Hmmmm...I have made the lowest difficulty very easy, it is almost like a walk in the park.
I am not a ghoster myself (I'm a blackjacker) but I repeatedly was able to ghost the mission on expert without any difficulties. So I'd say for the professional ghosters the highest difficulty might actually be too easy.

How about removing the constant assault of electronica? It's so damned loud you can't hardly hear anything else. Electronica just plain sucks anyway and it's definitely not music.
Music isn't supposed to be a constant barrage, it should be used occasionally to convey and heighten atmosphere and emotion.
All it makes me want to do here is strangle someone then delete the FM.
Something with some piano and maybe cello would be much better here. And not so damned loud. The in-game volume controls on Dark Engine games haven't worked right since Windows 98 so there's no way to turn down the music.
I've eaten plenty of acid and shrooms (and plenty of other things) in my youth, and never once experienced anything remotely close to the things in this FM.
Whatever you used: it didn't soften you up :nono:
I'lld suggest to use all of this energy to create a really great FM of your own. I would be happy to betatest!
Untill than: Enjoy all what the FM maker is presenting us
I found this Fm quit different from any Thieflike FM, but still very amusing and inventive :thumb: :thumb:
I looked at the walls and I must say: these are very creative

Found the area where the chessmaster is: Signed with 2 mushrooms. But I don't have any idea how to reach there. There is too high to jump and i didn't see any ladder or rope.
Jump down on mushroom (taking several health points in damage when I landed).

To get the bonus objective:
After you are granted safe passage, go back and grab Benny. Carry him to the south-west corner of the maze, keep going until you see a mushroom on the wall. Face away from the wall, look down and jump down. There is another mushroom on the floor which is not visible due to the fog, but when you get close enough to it it becomes visible. The moment you see it press the 'Drop' key to drop the body you are carrying. If you do it right (it is actually quite easy) you will land on the body and do not take any damage.

I've used the Earth talisman, and gotten the clue about crouching in a dark hole - am I not already in one? where do I go?
EDIT: go back to the Earth room there's a door open nearby.
the mushroom climb got me so close to quitting, I kept flying off on random vectors... but I did it. then there was the room with VERY LOUD screaming (even with my speaker volume turned way down), and now trying to mantle a damn statue? I'm done. if someone tells me how exactly to get over I might continue, but if I just need to try until Garret grabs, then never mind.
and the library had so much potential...

As I played this, I actually felt compelled for the first time in a game, to progress for the philosophical content !

MrMunkeepants....get the crate from hut room, climb down the ladder and drop/jump the crate in front of the statue. Mantle onto the statue, stoop, and squeeze through the opening. It took me two tries, but it can be done.
Good luck! :)

To get the key,
you have to actually read the scroll behind the gate, which means you have to use the talisman to open it. No wonder i couldn't find it. I had read the scroll but was caught, so reloaded and didn't bothering reading the scroll again cause i already knew what it said. Grrh! How frustrating. :p
