I've used the Earth talisman, and gotten the clue about
crouching in a dark hole - am I not already in one? where do I go?
EDIT: go back to the
Earth room there's a door open nearby.
the mushroom climb got me so close to quitting, I kept flying off on random vectors... but I did it. then there was the room with VERY LOUD screaming (even with my speaker volume turned way down), and now trying to mantle a damn statue? I'm done. if someone tells me how exactly to get over I might continue, but if I just need to try until Garret grabs, then never mind.
and the library had so much potential...
The invisible platforms are actually quite big. You just have to make sure the mushrooms don't block your jump. Walk around them a bit first.
Pick up the crate and carry it to the front of the statue. Look down. Jump up and at the same time press the 'Drop' button. You will drop the crate and land on it. Then mantle over the statue, crouch and exit.

this was certainly different. f12 took a beating, too. satisfying to get through it in the end though.

To get the bonus objective:
Got it :thumb:
Nice mission, somehow different. :D

OH GOD! I CAN SEE FOREVER!
Played on expert, and that was a bad trip, man. But the song at the end made up for it, that and all the Cthulus lined up as I exited. Even got the bonus objective.
Edit:
And your release date should be 11/4/09 (Nov. 4, 2009), rather than 4/11/09 (April 11, 2009) in the title... I thought you said you never tried any mind altering substances? =P

Glad you liked it!

That is ass-backwards, man! In this part of the world we do the dates properly! :cheeky:

Agreed with Haplo. Logical people would prefer to go from the smallest to biggest (day-month-year) instead of turning it into chaos. You might aswell put the year in the middle and day in the end.

A brief gloat. Only read after completing.
I managed to lock both roving haunts in the same room, and took no damage whilst doing so!
I Thank you.
Interesting little mission Haplo, nicely done. :thumb:

Yep, we're all cowboys over here.
We just like to put the date elements in order of importance. But I like the metric system. I'll use a meter stick instead of a yard stick to beat my children when I have kids. =P
There's an idea though. Garrett the Cowboy. Has to steal cattle, get the girl and then face off with Doc Holiday at the OK Corral. Yee-haw.

To get the key,
you have to actually read the scroll behind the gate, which means you have to use the talisman to open it.Well, thank you! :) Based on other incomplete instructions, I have been trying like a fool to blind frob something that wasn't there. Furthermore, following the above instructions is not so easy. The guy does not have his back turned long enough.

I finished it. :) I have to congratulate you, Halpo, on a very nice, artistic piece.
The only thing I didn't like was the key in the "sky". It is too easy to read the note once, get killed doing it, and not bother to read it again.
Other than that, I thought it was very well done, and I enjoyed playing it. The mushroom stairs got a little tedious, but I guess that is part of the thesis that you need to suffer.:)
