I call it how i see it. Both of his missions from the keeper of medal and gold are rated a 2 and a 3 from garrettloader.

There is no problem with not liking a mission. The lack of feedback is annoying though. There's nothing wrong with telling the author what you didn't like about the mission, instead it will maybe help him with future projects.

Posting constructive criticism and stating what you like and didn't like about a mission is generally well received by FM authors. Posting stuff like "This mission is crap." is NOT in that category :nono: and does nothing but discourage people from making FMs for us to enjoy. Next time you don't like a mission, have the respect to take the time to write a proper post that includes an explanation of what put you off and leave out the insulting remarks.

It is never possible to please everyone. The Acid Trip in particular was quite different from your everyday mission, and therefore had the players divided (as I had expected). Some loved it, and some hated it.
I respect the fact that some players do not like the mission, and it is absolutely fine. I myself do not like some of the missions that are praised by the community. However I do not agree with treating Garrettloader's score as a representation of how good a mission is.

Haplo, good for you :thumb: Keep coding.
I tried your Acid Trip FM about 4 months ago and could not get more than a couple of minutes into it without being killed. It was far too difficult for me, at least at the energy level I wanted to expend playing it. I gave up, but might play it again in the future. That's my take, but others loved or hated it. Good for them. I am thankful you made it at all, despite that I really didn't care for it. Cheers :D

Thanks for the encouragement. And try it again, in the new version you are given a sword on the easy difficulty, and there are only two haunts to kill. I hope you will enjoy it.

Well I just finished and did OK. I played on easy because I wanted the sword. I had no idea you could lock the haunts/demons in. I didn;t play chess, but I will go back again and do it since I gota clue on the location. I looked all around the chess painting and found nothing. I finally got to the last scroll and the game ended. I thought I would have a chance to choose or something. So how are we supposed to know the chess game is
near the mushrooms off the maze? That seems a llittle of a stretch. Fun to play though and fairly wasy with the sword.
OK, a few minutes later and all objectives done. I get it now for the chess clue, but the spoilers are kind of misleading. You do not need to
jump down at the top mushroom. Anywhere will do. You just have to search for the lower mushroom to find the hallway into the chess area. Also, since I had taken some hits, I was killed every drop. I even dropped Benny and landed on him, but died every time. The way I got around it was to jump with Benny and toss him just before hitting the deck. I took damage, but very little. It took me about 45 minutes from start to finish and I was going slow. Not bad for me :D
