Hey, Andros the Oxen here. I did The Thief voice in eight of the the 23 or so previous contest entries.
I'd be happy to donate some work for any remaining Missions you folks are working on. Check out The Master Thief and Dark Mod Demos on my website at (
http://www.everybodyandme.com/). I can be reached here or more directly by the email at my website. Usually 2 day turnaround in MP3 or Wav, delivered by email if small enough, and by WeTransfer if bigger.
I need a contact Email, a name or Psudo-name, script, format required, and transfer info. I can do a good aussy, Irish, High Class Twit British, and a variety of other accents... and if you want some known voice emulated, let me know. (Sean Connery, Walter Brennen, anything you like.) I usually deliver 3 sets, with some playing around in phrasing on two.

The count should be around 14 or 15.
I've heard one or two contestants express doubt that they'll manage to finish by the deadline, but I have also had the privilege of beta-testing a significant portion of the submissions already. I can say with confidence that we are in for many incredible experiences this month.

That will keep us busy and entertained for a while! Anything above 10 sounds great. ;)

Can't believe how quickly it has all come around and we are a blink away from another jolly Thief feast. All the best to everyone entering for that "final push" to completion - I am very much looking forward to dusting off the blackjack and getting my sneaking shoes on :)

I installed Thief 2 and then NewDark 1.27 today. In the contest's spirit of using only stock resources, should I keep this minimal setup, or should I add any of the mods that come with T2Fix?

I would expect most authors to be working without any mods installed. Disabling all mods will give you a nice nostalgic aesthetic for playing the missions, and it's most likely to be closest to the authors' intended experiences.

IMO all you need is the Mission and Resource Fix. Definitely avoid the enhancement pack.

I would also recommend against using any mods for these missions. Although it is stock and stock-derived only, depending on how the author used any stock-derived content, the use of EP's may actually mess with those stock-derived assets.
