Haha, this looks to be awesome! Just had a glance at the YouTube video - rats! :D
Great idea! Just my dumb luck that I have to work now :( Really looking forward to trying it out.
Maybe I should make this my first play on my new dedicated Thief box attached to my plasma TV
Thank you for this, Zontik! :)

Good mission. Nothing 100% original in the idea of playing the guard but its not something that is always pulled off as well as this is and the limits based on Thief (though i must say, I've never really noticed that guards couldn't go into water via steps.. the amount of times I've been attacked in the water by a guard that then drowned when i have screwed up..). Loved the way the AI had the speed advantage on you and use of flash bombs. Manor was large enough to be fun but not too big as to create major problems (at lest, that's what i found ^_^ if you had to protect someplace like Soul Forge on your own, that would be pretty much impossible). I gotta say, i always love it when bits of the mission can 'change' during the mission (much like some nice bits in Kings story) and you seam to do that well without overusing it.
only a couple of small things ever annoyed me of it. One was just a small bug that happens from time to time, i think thanks to the dark engine (a hidden switch in the guards room kept flipping up and down like mad. i though i fixed it, but i guess i didn't, cause when i entered the short passage, i became trapped until i bashed the door enough.. surprisingly, that was the first time i completed it with the required loot ^_^) but the main bit had to be how strong the thieves are compared to guards.. seamed a little odd but didn't really bother me much, but a fair review should always give what you like and what you don't.

Let me explain.
I thought about it, tried different settings and tested. Weaker thieves made the gameplay too easy and may be too
fair... it was excessive probability, and I decided not to cross the edge.
Remember, guards in game can't even jump and climb. I could prevent player from making such things... but I didn't. Guess why.

Fair enough ^_^

Just replayed this one again last night.
I have to say, the clip that plays when you grab the blackjack was genius.
