Yandros, it is a general statement thanking everyone. English is obviously not his first language, but that is what he is doing. Why you do not see it, I do not know. It almost seems like you just want to see your name in the readme. I hope thats not the case. I know you have contributed some excellent stuff, and I thank you tons. I mean no offense, but thats how your coming across to me and a few others.

Yandros is right about this.

Stingm I was in the same place I used all of the fire arrow looking things on her but only a few looked like it hurt her so I took the skull and ran. Then I went back up and dispatched the bloke walking around after he started shooting things at me!! But I don't know what to do now????? and I don't know what the green potions that look like invisibility potions are for??
Stingm on 27/8/2007 at 00:30
Its a sticky point indeed. Technically (spelling) he is giving credit by thanking all. But if the authors want their names mentioned specificaly then I understand. But they shoud say that. I and a few others take giving credit to be exactly what he did.
I do see your point though and when I make my mission, I will be sure to not just say thanks, but to name everyone if thats what they want. :o)

P.S. Now what about where I am stuck. What do I do with that evil woman?

Anyone who just injects a blanket statement like "thanks to all the people who contributed" is just lazy. There's some very talented folks around here creating items and letting people use them for free. A mention by name is the very least an author can do. I can't believe anyone who is a part of TTLG would even challenge this, very disappointing.
Plus, if you don't mention specific names in the readme, how will the next person who wants to use the item(s) in their FM know where they came from?
Yandros on 27/8/2007 at 03:09
That's basically the point I was trying to make; I certainly wasn't looking to make sure everyone toots my horn. I don't think most of the people who know me around here would think that was my motive (at least I hope not!) Besides, as I recall there is only one or two things in the mission that came from me, but there are numerous resources from people like NV.
Anyway, I feel like we're beating a dead horse here, so let's just let it go and get back to discussing the mission.

I just finished it last night.
Stingm:
Underground, you don't have to beat the spirit, only gotta grab the skull and get out. Later, go to the Cthulhu sanctuary (in the great tree area), and put the skull on the pedestal with the bonfire, and a rope will appear from above. Use it.
I don't know what's the utility for the "invisibility potions".

How did you kill the "beast" guy up there? Nothing I've got - including fire crystals obtained from down below - seem to work.
Dooh Nibor on 27/8/2007 at 10:33
Marbrien:
Just beat him with the sword several times (he's stupid, behaves and hits like a zombie :cheeky: ) and DON'T LET HIM go to the red stone in the floor, because it has healing powers.
