I do understand that PigLick was sarcastic about "fuck america" for his own part. However if he says "I'm with kolya on this one" then it comes across as an allegation that I was anti-american.

I still find the fact that at the first sign of sabre rattling a fishing village destroyed story is floated like chum before sharks to be gulped down to be amusing on it's own. It separates those who check for hooks at the very least. I guess it could have been a home for unwed childrens hospital that was leveled so we should be grateful.

I'm not going to claim the Iranian leadership is rational, but you can bet your ass there are US spies operating there and I wouldn't accept the grandma alibi blindly. You have to be mad to take a trip from the US to Iran for personal reasons right now.

Yeah because in a country of 75 million people you can't expect a single one of them would have family in the US they'd want to see once and a while. Come on, we have an Iranian here on TTLG that talks about going back & forth from Europe & Iran. The gov't is unhinged but people still live their lives. I found it perfectly believable.
As for the US having spies there, so probably does the UK, France, Israel, Russia, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia... I don't think the US at least is stupid enough to send a US citizen to do it though, when they could just use an Iranian citizen.
