Is there anyway of running Thief DS on the PC using a JoyPad? The instruction booklet says it's not setup to, but is there any way around it? Any program or something?

Sorry for bumping, does anyone know?

Try waiting longer than an hour for a response. This isn't a fracking IRC channel.
Someone will be along to stab you in the face presently.

I have my 360 gamepad emulating keyboard controls pretty well.
Mahoney on 1/6/2006 at 18:03
How did you set that up Komag? My copy doesn't seem to want to allow me to use my 360 controller. Please can you tell me how you did it? I've managed to set it up for Splinter Cell and one or 2 other ones, but not for Thief DS.
P.S. Thanks ZylonBane. I'm not homosexual, but thanks for the offer all the same.

TEH G@Y J0KE LOL + doesn't even make sense in the context of what I actually said = preconceived notions about people who use gamepads for Thief:
confirmed.

You funny, ZB!
To answer the question, I have pretty good results with a Nostromo N50, though their built-in Thief configuration was all wrong and I had to develop my own.
I never heard of a "joypad" but my friend the Internet tells me it's not Austin Power's apartment but is instead the Nintendo-style controller. I'm sure you can find a configuration that works for Thief on the PC, for example one 4-way stick/button/whatever for moving and one for leaning would make sense.
