Has not always been the case, though. I'd have been interested to see what was in there. You can tell original WoW (sans expansions) was a labour of love, they worked hard to try and balance paladin/shaman between horde and alliance and the game was beautiful. I just to just like, hang out next to the pumpkin fields to soak up the atomosphere.
Then all the original developers left, any class could be either side and they put pandas and crap PvP arenas in it. We ended up with StarCraft 2 being divided up into a 3-part cheese fest and Diablo 3. 'Nuff said.
