May run through this again, I've got a new 22" wide monitor, should look very good on this baby.
Very good story indeed. One of my top games.

I guess the graphics will suck compare to FO3 but what about gameplay/story?
Why would you assume the graphics will suck? You do realize Bloodlines came out barely four years ago, right? Its graphics are easily on par with those of Half-Life 2.

Minus a few things that look a little funny, mostly props.

Katana wielding Ventrue FTW. You can slice, dice, dominate, and charm.
That does it. A Ventrue is the one clan I
haven't played. Reinstalling right now.
Looking through this thread has me remembering some of the characters and quests. Gimble the prosthetic guy, Heather, V, Fat Larry, just to mention a very few of memorable characters you meet in this game. And lets not forget the haunted hotel. Certainly on par with the Cradle in T3 as far as scares go.
I played a Nossie my first time through and found the game pretty difficult, especially the ending, but Obfuscate is a whole lot of fun. Last time played a Malk and never laughed so hard while playing a game.
I've always played using the official patch, however seeing as ZB contributed to this last one, will have to give it a shot.

Fat Larry is probably my favourite NPC in that game for so many reasons, all of them being "he's awesome."

I liked so many of the characters...one of the many reasons why the game is so damn memorable. The bail bondsman, the cannibalistic vamp, Gimble, the fat security guard.....too many to name. One of the few games w/such an admirable feature.

My maaan!! What is up!! When you start to quote lines from the game, yes, memorable indeed.
Have any of you ever watched a show called "The Kindred"? Its been running on The Chiller channel at various times. I caught it last year for the first time. It was made in the mid 90's. Its based off Vampire Masquerade. It only had 8 episodes, the lead was killed in a motorcycle accident, such a loss. Not a bad show, I've seen all the episodes a few times over. It is sooo much like the game, its bizarre.

I tried playing non-Malkavians, but always ended up abandoning them as they weren't quite as fun.
Yes, my first playthrough was with a Malk. No, I didn't have any problems understanding the plot, side quests or character motivations.
