The ending was utter shite compared to what had gone before, my first playthrough I had built a more social skills kind of character, and then the end was like a huge dungeon crawl with annoyingly hard monsters so I ended up using health cheats to finish the game.
In console:
zammo - full ammo for all ranged weapons
zbuff - maximizes
everything-- masquerade level, humanity, stats, disciplines, gives all armor and weapons and a few blood packs
You're welcome.
(no, it's not a coincidence that those functions start with "z")

First time I've played this game although I've had it for some time. After an initial frustrating experience with getting the game working with the patch (starting Steam in administrator mode and launching the game solved the problem) it's up and running.
I went through the initial questions which placed me as Nosferatu. Although initially a little puzzled why personality or charisma were limited I soon realised why when seeing my character. Going to stick with it even though it wouldn't be my first choice.

So, is that new Library level any good or significant?

Not particularly. It's half a dozen rooms, one guard and a boss fight. There's a couple of nice pieces of loot (Maybe a bit too nice), but it's not really a game-changing experience. I haven't played much further after leaving the library, but there is a suggestion that there's more to it later on

I apologize. I meant to say Gangrel, not Brujah. I love the male skin, and they are just bad ASS!

driver - what hub is the library located in?

It's downtown, opposite LaCroix's apartment. You can't get in there till you receive an email from Beckett asking you to investigate the place.
I've gotten a tad stuck, though. I've just returned from the Leopold mission and I'm supposed to report to LaCroix. There's debris in front of his apartment and all the guards are dead inside. The elevators are not working and I can't find a way to reach him. Buggered if I can remember what I'm supposed to do now, all of the walkthroughs I've looked at just say you go straight up to see him.

For my first play-through of bloodlines... I chose the malkavian.
What I remember of that play-through is that the game got me to laugh a few times as a result. I remember quite a few times where during a chat with an npc... of the response choices given to me... I kept seeing one of them which was absolutely hilarious & my hands wanted to choose it but my mind kept telling me not to as the proverbial s*** was gonna hit the fan if I did. :laff:
One of the things I really liked about Bloodlines was the muddied nature of the characters. On my initial play-through, LaCroix appeared to be the main villain to me... at first. But after getting to understand him better, the farther into the game I got, I began understand his point-of-view & I couldn't see him in too much of a negative light. Only that he made some bad judgement choices IMO. A lot of the characters came off this way... with one exception: Smiling Jack. He reminds me of that one friend you always have (everyone has had at least one in their life time) that you refer to your other friends as a d*** but you like him just the same & you even keep him around because he's funny as hell at parties. ;)
Now of all the vampire sects in the game, the only one that I couldn't get a clear understanding of (which tells me that I should replay this game again & thx to this patch I now have a reason) was the asian vampires (forget the name they went by at the moment). Guess I'm off to replay Bloodlines again.

I actually was a little wary of the brujah including Jack. I mean he's a likeable guy. But the whole anarchist thing... I felt like they'd still pop you if they had to, maybe he'd shrug and say "Nothing personal. You're a good kid..." but you have to be a little wary, and I was half expecting that kind of angle at the end. But my first playthrough was Tremere, and it's my favorite one still, the outsiders & magicians. So I was conscious of never really being able to trust anyone but my own clan.

I keep hearing good thing about this game from basically everywhere/everyone, but ... is it worth checking out if I don't like WoD at all?
