We all know that whitewolf has been making an MMO with the creators of eve online, but now we have informations stating that It will be based on the Old World of Darkness, specifically the vampire universe. The information was given at the Grand Masquerade event.

Though the concept video looks a little goth for my tastes I have faith that it has a huge potential of being a great MMO.

I'd play another single player version, but doubt very much I'd be tempted to play an MMO. I shudder at the thought of the player base.

I don't see how this could possibly be good, and I rather like WoD.
I think the difference is, I preferred the old WoD, with all its idiosyncrasies and convolutions and the almost kudzu-like organic way the universe was expanded upon. It's kinda like WH40K in that regard.

Did you not read the OP? It uses the VtM setting, hence it's set in oWoD. Else they would've mentioned Vampire: The Requiem.
