Yeah that was basically Yahtzee's version of a PSA, though.

Heh, I like the subtle dig at
BioShock.

Anyone else notice the Deadly Shadows-inspired atomic
blue violet frob shader and loot glint?
In terms of graphics, this game looks like TDS should have looked like :) And this is not a compliment really, who makes a game today, where 90% of game world textures are 512x512 or lower?
And in terms of game rules it feels like castrated Thief. The AI is so awfully dumb, and generally, there are two options: you are seen and you might as well reload your checkpoint or you're hidden in the shadows. I started the game on the Agent difficulty, at first it's a bit hard to get used to and frustrating, but after a few missions I actually find the gameplay quite pleasant, with that old-school feeling. I also like the overall mood, ambient music is very thiefy at times.
Anyway, I'd hardly recommend it to any fellow Thief veteran, at least not for a full game price. Maybe when it drops down to something like 15 or 10 £...

No.
EDIT: Though it depends - what do you expect from this game?

I've only played the first few levels but so far it has been ok. The atmosphere is decent and the game looks good. Gameplay may be a little simplified for some people and few of the other gripes in this thread are valid but I can't say that I am bothered too much by any of the games faults so far. If you are into stealth $25 isn't that bad a price for this game.

I would not buy it at 25. Still too expensive for this mediocre game.
