Although it is too much focused on combat IMO, it does have a very thiefy flair.
Just take a look at the screenshots and trailers. There are so many where it just screamed Taffer to me.

And of course no italians in the developers team. I'm getting sick of these games that disfigures the image of the city. At least they had to document themselves better on it.

Oh yes it's like someone would make a game about Chernobyl and put real mutants in it! Would you believe that!? .... Oh wait.....
The game looks DMC+Tomb-Raider-ish so it can't be that bad gameplay-wise. The story ... haha I'm already laughing. The graphics choice seems a bit odd to me, since it doesn't have a shiny-round-boobs engine.

Looks like a mixture of BG&E and PoP series to me, might be cool but not really thiefy, I guess.

So c'mon, Thief 3 wasn't so bad. :p In certain aspects worse than the previous, in other ones better.
