What do you want from me?? I'm just defending Venice from "rapes" like this. :nono:
I don't like the same old ruffianism stricly owned by the people that are all ":thumb:" or "oh, wow!" to anything that passes on. Certain things have to be botched, especially when they have bad taste.

Dude, people aren't going to play this game then visit Venice because "the chick from the game went through this underground cavern-temple and omg it is the roxx where's the tour!!??". Venice will be the same and people won't think otherwise. It's just a game.

Yes, but it gives a distorted image of the city. Venice is churches, the dome, the bridges, the Piombi prisons, gondole, laguna, masks, carnival, merchants, culture, not a girl with a machete and many monsters...... _-_

You oughta see what Hollywood does with New York and Chicago. Or worse, what they do to my hometown and State. Arizona is usually depicted as all cactus, canyons, and desert, and the locals as Southerners an Midwesterners. The pine forests (part of the largest national pine forest in the States), and 12500-foot mountains with aspen trees, snow, and skiing aren't depicted.:tsktsk::)
Fire in the Sky showed the area accurately, but not the locals.

And my country is not vampires and gypsies, but apparently that's what we're known for. Oh and of course 5 out of 10 Romanians go to foreign countries to steal and rape (*kind of what a lot of people come up with after reading news papers). Give me a girl with a machete every day over this crap.
Anyway, this is pointless.

Yeah! Me too I thought Arizona was desert! lol What a misinformation...

hahahaha I know Romanian, it's a good people, just the thrash do this kind of things, and the thrash are everywhere. Generally those who leave their country often already have some problem, that's why they commit crimes where they go.
Sensut (Transylvania) is one of my ttlg friend, and I doubt I will ever see him doing these things :p

Darker ambientations. Music more hypnotics. Awesome mechanic levels (both the Hammerite locations), and also a good graphid engine.
You win on the graphics engine, but aside from that I still have to disagree. TDP beats it on the first two and TMA on the third counts. Though the Clocktower wasn't half bad.

Of those things, I think T3 only won out on ambient/music (I'm not counting the graphics engine since that's a given). Of course it's not surprising, since Eric did all three games, and only got better at it over the years.

Guess I'd better tell my housemates to get ready for the day I inevitably snap and start committing crimes on their asses. No... wait, they're also foreign to the UK, so I guess we're all equally a peril to one another.
Anyway, look, entertainment media in particular has a well known talent for giving skewed or straight out loony depictions of... well, pretty much anything and everything. Unless you've stumbled upon something that's genuinely and directly offensive to the city's culture, I think you're overreacting a bit.

What?? Where TDP has better mechanism that TMA and the hammer locations of TDS??

Sorry?? What it mean "that's a given"? If you meant "that's a given fact", I can only agree, I'm discovering while editing the power of this engine, day by day. Both the lighting and the physics systems are awesome.

And this is the problem. They have to stop lying!

I've reacted because of the LIE!! That's not the true Venice, and yeah, in my opinion is directly offensive to the city's culture. Anyway I don't want to make a drama about this. As someone told before, it's just a game, but I cannot told myself not offended, and not disgusted.
Anyway I expected such distortions from some asian people, for example, not europeans, that must well know Venice. Both japanese animes and USA cartoons depicted Venice in a ridiculous way, I remember something about... canal waters gelatined because of a laser ray O_O
