I´ve seen some videos in youtube about this game, and it looks to be like the Gothic series or Risen, the information and ratings about this game are few, i wonder if anyone knows if this is a good game like ghotic , how big is the map size? how good is the design, gameplay, storyline and soundtrack?

The one review I read gave the game 4+/10 and nicknamed it "Vomitica". The game barely escaped being put in the traditional "so bad it's horrible" column of the magazine.

What is "ghotic"? It's not a mob game is it?

So you're just going to take one person's vague and brief summary of a review and write off a game?
When I see things like this, I give a knowing smile inside. I used to be like that too, but my life experiences have given me a different perspective on things.
Do you know why the person who wrote that review hated it? What specific qualities about the the game were not enjoyable to that person? These are things to consider because it is very possible that the things that one person hated about a game, would be the very things that you would love.
I am kindof on a soapbox here, but it's actually meant in goodwill. :D:cheeky: I personally have never played Venetica, so it's not like I'm plugging the game. I just wanted to make a general point about making decisions based on someone else's opinion without fully exploring what that person's opinions were based on.
In the realm of gaming specifically, I have had many experiences that taught me to fully explore where a reviewer who hated or loved a game was coming from, and whether or not their tastes aligned with mine.
The most controversial example I could think of right now is Planescape Torment. Some people gush about the brilliant writing, saying things like, "This is the best story ever told, regardless of the medium." I have made about five attempts to play this game, but I always stop playing before the end. There are many reasons why the game doesn't work for me, but I narrowed it down to one important thing: I simply cannot connect with the Nameless One. I've always felt a distance from his character, so the game turned into watching a movie with the story told backwards unfolding before my eyes. If I wanted that, I would watch a movie, not play a game. Those reviewers who enjoyed the game also enjoyed that movie aspect, and didn't feel the distance I felt from the character.
So whenever you read game reviews (either first hand or second hand) always try to find out what exactly the people who hated or loved the game were basing their opinions on. It could very well be that the things they cite as annoyances or amazing, would be things you would find endearing or humdrum respectively.

Remember to whom you are talking, though. This IS cardia1, after all.

You´re right Poetic thief, normally the critics review such as IGN or gamespot are right according to my taste when a game is bad or good, except one game that they gave a negative review and wich i didn´t agree, the game is "Enclave" a epic battle style game, i loved this game, it was one of the best i ever played, defenitly the game with the most beautifull architecture (design) i ever saw, a very good sountrack, a captivating storyline, and a enjoyable gameplay, everything was just great for me in this game, yet the reviews didn´t talk good about this game, and that´s something wich i will never understand. Now with Venetica i can´t find no score or review of this game in the IGN or gamespot, so i guess that someone familiar with the Gothic game series could tell me if Venetica has a similiar quality, or if its a bad game. i found many good comments of this game but at the same time i heard alot of complaints manifesting the dislike for Venetica, i am confused , fom the videos i saw of this game it looks to be a reasonable game, the games costs currently 35 euros here in my city, i don´t have much cash to risk my money superficially, that´s way i have to be very carefull wich game i must to buy.

Maybe you could just rent the Xbox 360 version along with a console to play it on?
