Great game ... recently started playing Deus Ex after Thief series.
I bought a version of Deus Ex -- "special limited edition" and the version that pops up is 1.003f_OEMS. This is not the Game of the Year Version.
The patches (multiplayer 1112fm and single player 1009f .. i think) don't seem to work. A window pops up and tells me to click on a some blank buttons to get more information from the web. Nothing happens when I click on the buttons. The version information never changes.
Any one know what is wrong? Is my version unpatach-able? Is it already patched? I can't find any multiplayer EXE files or menu items after I tried the patches. Am I missing something? Is my version wonky?
