I recently played T2 again afte a while an in Life of the party there I came to the point where I think it is the best moment in Thief. The archers at the beginning screaming and then shooting at each other.
Now since I play Thief with the german CD, I never could hear the original discussion in English.
So is it possible that someone could load up a video of that sequence in English? (like to hear it in other languages, too).

I *just* got done playing "Life of the Party" myself. Probably been 4 years, or more, since I played T2. That mission is so kick ass, so much fun to play, even after all this time. I must of played the archer fight 3 times.
The last time, I decided to dance the Garrett shuffle, RIGHT IN FRONT of them, their dialogue kept going, and going, like I wasn't even there. HELLO!? I finally tapped someone with a broadhead, let the mayhem begin. It was great. :D

Moi Dix Mois: Thanks for the link. Since I have serious troubles with my connection at the time I can' t download it by now. have tro try later on. Hope it is the right mission since there is written only "one ofe the..latter missions".
Broken Arts, yeah, great fun. I kept a saving point of the start of this mission and sometimes I run and jump to my archer friends to hear them..:D

The demo is similar to Life of the Party, except that it's changed to remove references to the Thief 2 storyline (e.g. there's a different reason for going to Angelwatch).
In the English versions of the demo, the conversation is done differently from the conversation in the English version of Thief 2.

Interesting, because whenever I get seen by those archers, my visible presence starts the slaughter earlier than usual, and then the last guy standing starts shooting at me! :p

i usually load and reload until ALL those jerks kill each other. because usually when there's one left he takes a LONG TIME to calm down- he jumps at every noise and it drives me nuts because i can't really get past him easily.
besides, it's funnier when they all die. :D

really, the only difference is one of the guards' voice sets is different. i like the demo version better anyways. :thumb:
