Here's my problem:
I just got a new videocard, a Radeon x850xt Platinum Edition. It runs... wonderfully. Morrowind plays fine; no lag at all, even with foliage mods installed. But there's still a problem!
I get these 'pixellated' areas on everything. This doesn't happen in any other game I've tried yet, just Morrowind. I think a picture will be more help than any explanation so:

As the camera moves, the pixelated areas 'dance.' All video drivers are up to date, too. Vexing :erg:
Edit: Pirates of the Caribbean, also by Bethesda, has the same problem too. I've checked on another monitor as well, and I still get the same thing.

I’ve got nothing. I’m not even certain what you mean by ‘pixilated’. Is there any chance that the regions you marked obscure Janet Jackson’s right breast? :erg:

You'll notice that inside all the red squares, there are rectangles of discoloration, sometimes only a single pixel, oftentimes larger. You can't tell as well since the jpeg was low quality (but I couldn't shrink it, otherwise it'd be harder to see, and bitmap gave a file a few megabytes in size.)

Hey RB I have the same card .I also have the same problem with a game I play(X2) dancing pixelated squares on asteriods. It is not driver related, its just the way that this card plays these games.
I do know what your talking about,I havent had it happen to any newer games.

That's good to know. Atleast my card isn't defective. It also happens on Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. The other two, and I think this game, all use Pixel Shading on the water, which may account for the problem. I can't be sure though.

Turn pixel shaded water off and if it still happens, you'll know it is or not. :)
Keep checking for updated Catalyst Drivers I guess.
