lol THats great.. . place gives me the creeps even watching someoen else play. Good way to show someone else the level even if they can't/won't/haven't played thief. (in this case, my friend, who REFUSES to even try them. *sniff* Of course, he gave me his disks, so its a bit hard for him to try now. . .and he's not getting them back! :ebil: )

That was good watching the Cradle again. Really great Videos!.
I think I will have to play again soon. Still scary... Even after playing many times. Those creaking doors. I feel unnerved now too. I Love it though.:ebil:

Heh thats the key of it, isn't it? You get totally creeped out, nervous and jumpy. . .and keep coming back for more. The replayability is great!
As a side note - has anyone noticed that while in the cradle, if you look out a window the clouds are speeding by really fast, like time is passing at a gallop while you are inside. Not sure if this is in the present and past, but I saw it while in the Cradle's memory and up in the attic - about the time you use the dissolution sirum (syrum?) on the bloodstain, you can look at one of those round windows near the top of the wall. It was sort of creepy.
I've been debating what it might 'mean'.

I think its only in the memory. Perhaps it means that this time has long past, and the rest of the world needs to make up for it by speeding up? Not very good, but its a start....

I noticed that too. I don't know if it has any real signifigance, but it does set for an eerie atmosphere.
On topic: I really liked watching those videos for the time they lasted. I'm looking forward to the next parts, please keep recording!
If you want some critique, though, the videos could've been shorter (and smaller) if you didn't keep going back to the same rooms over and over. Still, the slowness of it all made it oh so much creepier.
On another, more humourous remark, I liked the fact that you actually had to quit the game for some 'cooling down' in the Inner Cradle (at least that's what it looked like, with the screen fading to black on some occations), which is totally understandable. I can't even play through the level with 3rd person perspective on! :joke:
