Nice.
There are a couple of places where the seam shows though. And as long as you are 1024 wide, why not vary the bricks a bit more in the middle?

This is awesome Clearing & Ricebug as well. It's always good to have mirrored locations to download. :) btw the hi res textures are on Vigil's site. In the URL of each non-hires texture zip file just substitute "texture" with "hires_texture" :)

Unfortunately, as Yandros said, not all the texture families are present there. The ivy (without bricks) is missing, and the red bricks with ivy is different from the pcx version.
Since it seems that we have the permission, maybe someone will be so kind to send me these two textures? Thanks in advance. :)
The terrain.zip file has the ivy with no bricks. It's basically nothing but ivy.
Is this the red brick with ivy you were looking for? :

Here's my attempt at rdbrick_ivy:
You'll note that it's 1024 pixels wide so the pattern doesn't repeat too much.
It looks very good. :) The only difference is that the ivy covers more bricks in the upper part, as shown in the pic that John posted.

Yes, of course I was looking for a HiRes version, which doesn't exist.

That may be as HiRes as its going to get. :) In Vigil's readme file it says that the files are 256x256 or 512x512, and that pic I posted is 256x256. :) It would be nice if there was one 512x512 or 1024x1024.

Here's a version with the seam fixed:
edit:
I made this as an
alternative. I have no desire to make a high-res version of the original with the ivy going up or down in all the right places. Anyone who wants to modify the image can have the source file (.psd):
(
http://catmanofiowa.com/RSoul/RedBrickIvy.zip)
The branches were taken from cgtextures.com (Nature\Ivy...). You can search for
19744 to get to the image.
It's good enough for me, it fits perfectly. It looks way much better than before, thanks! :)

I'm glad you got your bricks-and-ivy, Lady Rowena! I can't wait to see the building it's growing on. :)
I finally got a chance to look at the files that you found on Vigil's site, John. They're actually a different set than what was at "the link". I'm working on merging the two sets, finishing the file renames and .MTL files, and hopefully putting together something complete that can still be a partial drop-in replacement.

That's good kdau! :) I noticed two things: The HiRes files on Vigil's site and those on the wayback machine are identical, and the HiRes zips have less textures than the low res counterparts. It would be great to have the complete set if at all possible. Its really strange that Vigil would remove the links to the HiRes files but leave the HiRes zips on his site.
