i have misplaced the vintage brandy from the hiaalo *spelling* manor where the guy was murdered any way can someone please tell me where i might find another since i am stuck now with the thieves guild thank you thank you thank you.

hmm as far as i know there are only two sets of vintage brandy in the game. The first is on the main shelf downstairs where the guy is lying but the other is in his private quarters upstairs. I found in his chest of drawers i think, but just search all the rooms upstairs.
[SPOILER]By the way in one of the rooms upstairs is the wife/servant (dont remember which) of the deceased and she gives you clues about the murderer. After talking to her go talk to anyone on the street about th 'murderers description' and they will tell you its a guy in the council club opposite the silt strider. The guy is just inside the door dressed in bronze armour with a big axe. Taunt him to hit you first then kill him. I recommend saving before hand tho it can be really easy or really tough.[/SPOILER]
If you cant find the brandy upstairs then if you have the pc version you can add it to your inventory directly.
This is via the editor. You have to load the editor then use file -> click on open morrowind esm -> then after it loads try looking for vintage brandy.
I think it may be in misc items, ingredients, just look in the appropriate one. Find the unique code for it (its displayed when u find it). Then load game and open the console by pressing the "`" key ( the key to the left of 1, well on my keyboard anyway.
when that is open type in player->additem_vintage brandy"01 (or something close) try using gamespot for ideas or hopefully a better player will come online soon and help you further. If you have the xbox i dont know what u can do, sorry :(

If you're on PCThe correct console command is (type the following once you open the console):
player->additem, "p_vintagecomberrybrandy1", 1
If you're on Xbox, or simply don't want to use the consoleA quick search of the Official Forums revealed that:
1. There are sometimes two bottles of brandy in his house - one on the top floor in his dresser, and one in the basement. Try checking the house again - maybe there's a second one kicking around.

Probably because the ID is p_vintagecomberrybrandy1 rather than the c_vintagecomberrybrandy you're using.
