I just finished the game for the first time, and I absolutely loved it despite some very irritating things.
First... I fell victim to the bug where Paul doesn't appear in his apartment in the NYC distress signal mission. That stopped me in my tracks for a day and a half.
Second... I got the vision enhancement augmentation seeing that at rank 4 I'd be able to see through walls at long rang. "Bad ass!" I thought! So I got it and invested 3 upgrades in it... when I used it my vision wasn't enhance at all. I didn't even get the infravision I got at rank 2. Is there a way to activate it or something?
Still, a great game. I started a new game as soon as I beat it.

Erm... that's kinda wierd. About the Vision Enhancement thing I mean... You should have like a square in the centre of your view that has the nightvision effect, with the rest of the screen red-tinted. When you can do the see-thru-walls trick, people, bots etc show up as white-covered versions of their normal selves.
Also, you'll notice that if you use this enhancement and look at certain characters, like the Red Arrow Triad types, you'll see that they're actually wearing trenchcoats, only the bottom half has been made invisible. In fact, it would appear that there are only maybe 5 "generic" character models, with the majority of important models (Reyes, Manderly, the Dentons et al) being slightly altered generic ones. Like Alex, for example, I think he's just a reskinned version of the sick guy from Battery Park, plus a pair of glasses.
Nifty way to cut down on space.
