If you don't know what Good Old Games is, it's a new website that sells classic PC games optimized for modern hardware and OS's. I was really excited about this until I realized Thief wasn't on there . Right now System Shock 2 is the most demanded game (good news), but if you go to this link and search for Thief, you can vote it up after making an account. Let's demand it!

It would be great, but it isn't likely to happen.. As you've said, System Shock 2 has been voted on highly, but nothing has become of this. I think a letter to the GOG team themselves might have a better impact. At least if they give a response we'll know whether to keep pushing or to give up.
Also, welcome to TTLG.

I see two games: Thief 2: The Metal Age (847) and Thief II: The Metal Age (1467).

Publishers are constantly losing money to the used market from people like me who would gladly pay $5.99 for a classic game, rather than wait for it to be delivered from Amazon at a similar price. It seems like a stupid move NOT to sell your classic games on a service like this. Until they wake up and realize this, I don't expect anything to change.
