Yep, me too. I also started at Eidos. I caught on to TTLG during one of the early flame wars. That was back when Gingerbred was a Force of Nature... :cheeky: As a fan of Ultima, I enjoy the "pirates den" atmosphere that TTLG provides. One minute a thought provoking thread, the next minute a lynching...

The atmosphere around here, for the most part is good. It can sway either way, which is a lot like life really. I don't agree with the out right of putting people down, and acting like assholes, nothing I can do about it. For the most part, its cool here. More down to earth. Some forums, I have visited, are so sickening sweet, I wanna puke. :eww: Or a kiddy fest with plenty of mayhem to go around.
I am curious as to who Baelzar is? The last person that posted in that thread, curious.

No I haven't, and on your recommendation I'll regard it as a fine game. My disdain for vampires comes more from cheesy movies, angsty teenagers, and literary roleplayers. Long story. :eww:

The traitor that I am, I voted for Legacy of Kain. I don't hate Thief though if I could vote for two then Thief would be my second choice. Bah! Why did they have to be in the same gaming company now I have to show favorites.:(
LoK: Defiance and Thief: Deadly Shadows are my most played games of all time and same goes for characters. I am a big Raziel fanboy and have followed that series since SR1 on the PSX and Garrett since T2. I hope they manage to make another installment for both franchises.
But we should unite against the common enemy here and that is Tomb Raider,never been much of a fan of it but now that Eidos ditched the others to work on Tomb Raider just because it makes more money makes me angry.

Thats most likely because its easier to make a model that jiggles in the right places than making a good and coherrant story. :p

Tomb Raider used to always be the top of the tree. It seems not so much now though.

And that, of course, tells you which the better game is. Yeah, TR and LOK were top years ago in the 1st pole, almost forgotten now, while THIEF has kept much of its fan base :)
