Those guys were just trying to defuse the situation without closing the thread. That's why they changed the title. I've noticed users over there seem younger on average than here. Children can be provoked easily, so strict rules need to be enforced.
And the fact is that it was all sugar and butterflies in that thread, until some stranger came and called a large group of locals "retards". Then some other stranger came and implied locals couldn't read (say what you want now, but that's how it sounded). Can't really say I'm proud. I know not everyone likes sugar, but that's no reason to spoil someone's candy.

I say the place is for idiots because one is banned for pointing out a simple logical fallacy: that the intelligence of forum members is somehow related to whether or not their favourite game is multiplatform. I then got some regular (who is certainly a 'tard) arguing with me and stating that since it is my opinion it can't be correct as it's "only an opinion", and besides my opinion MUST be biased because my username has the word "subjective" in it. I corrected him and was banned for it.
If the suppression of truth and logic is the norm there it most certainly is idiotic, and is a place where nonsense will flourish.
And saying that they cannot read is provocative, yes. I wanted people to examine what they were voting and everything I've said there is true.
Having said all that I do think it's a forum for the young and callow, and for that reason I will not be going back. It just surprises me that that such twits get to be mods/admins.

I remember getting a smackdown by Peter in Burricks Inn once. He over reacts, just like the rest of the mods over there.

Yup, they do over react, thats why I don't post much there anymore. I'm not the only person that feels that way either about the Cripple Burrick. Still a good place, but, too much of a tight reign on things if you ask me.
