Well, as far as I know, some FM authors have used others games' textures and even uploaded texture packs of other games (there's one for Daikatana around here, one for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the darkfate Thief website has several other game texture packs like Quake), so as long as it's an older game nobody really cares, it seems.
But as others have said, there are free texture websites out there, you can take textures from there instead.
