's all good, man. The best lawyer name since Bob Loblaw.

Oh wow... I'm from Rochester, NY (where Jim the Hammer is from) and remember seeing his commercials on tv. Haven't seen those things in such a long time!! :thumb:

I've been steadily catching up with this since I came back from Europe. While the slowly coiling tension is definitely starting to ratchet up with Jesse working closely with Gus, I think I can see where they're heading. I just finished "Problem Dog" so I'm ready to be on top of the show just in time for the finale.

“You add plus douchebag to minus douchebag, and you get like, zero douchebags.”
Awesome episode (#8 aka Gus's flashback episode) and I think Walt isn't telling us something about his CT scan...

I thought Gus was a great character from the start but the more I watch the more I like him. Errr, maybe I don't like him but the guy deserves respect for being such a damn smooth operator.

Great season once again. After a slower start.
First the brutal murder by Gus. Then a younger Gus in Mexico, more innocent, and shocked at his friend's brutal murder. The shock showed his process of breaking bad wasn't completed. Yet. Back in the present Gus, Mike, and now Jesse share the same fearlessness. They're on the same page because they no longer fear death. That creates an honesty that Walt doesn't get. Walt is too slow, because he has to justify everything in his mind. He tries on Heisenberg, and likes it, but he can't stay in character. He's manipulative, rather than accepting. In his defense (if breaking bad is the goal. lol), he's the only one of the bunch who has to maintain personal relationships with family members. And now he's planted the seed of doubt in his son's mind with a drugged, sleepy "that's good Jesse..." Deja vu.
Love how the show leaves the viewer guessing. My favorite episodes were the very early one with the bath crashing through the ceiling, and the one with Tuco and the old guy ringing his wheelchair bell. Insane writing.

Breaking up is hard to do.
The sad part is there were actually times when Walt genuinely gave a shit about Jessie. It's just that most of them were mistimed and the other times when he was basically doing it for his own reasons stuck out quite a lot.
