long post from last night
It's amazing how delusional and self-serving this post of yours is. This is (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122469&p=2066817&viewfull=1#post2066817) Dabeast-level douchebaggery. You've reduced me to a cartoon character, blown my arguments completely out of proportion and turned them into things I didn't actually say, then tell me that I'm not interested in rational discussion. All while consistently refusing to actually read what I'm saying and instead claim that I'm being insulting and pushy. Wonderful. I'm not even going to bother with your newest post, as it's fantastically missing the point as usual.

1) The guys are all fairly stereotypical too. Basically, they are all American Football players whose steroids are on steroids. Nothing about cock size, but I don't see breasts as an equivalent, since they are not a reproductive organ. Exaggerated musculature could reasonably be held to be equivalent to large breasts.

Is there any situation which exists that you don't have an image for?
Are you actually a super-computer?

Well he does have an amazing memory for referencing past arguments!
(altho that comic does sort of answer the question floating around the back of my mind, ie what would a the based-on-attraction-for-women version of the male action hero look like)
Chimpy Chompy on 6/7/2012 at 00:24
Yeah I imagine powerful and sexually attractive overlap for some women? (and also not all ladies will be attracted to the batman image in that cartoon)
Not sure how much that overlaps with SPESH MARINES tho. I mean you almost never see their actual bodies (apart from the heads) and while they're obviously big the chestplate doesn't evoke "rippling muscular torso" the same way Sororitas' does "corset and boobs".
[edit]great now i look like I'm talking to myself, Sg3 deleted his post

Given that just about every hulking, muscle-bound hunk of man-meat tends to be surrounded by adoring, voluptuous women (or so depicts popular culture, anyway), I think it's fair to say that at least some women are attracted to that stereotype.
Dude... I... what... no!
NO!
While I'm well aware that there are a few women who like the huge musclebound hunk of man-meat, surrounding the male power fantasy musclebound hero with voluptuous women is
part of the male power fantasy. Women's tastes have nothing to do with it. The two parts of your statement are not related.

Why do people insist on arguing with things I didn't actually say?
PigLick on 6/7/2012 at 02:58
haha I love how that guy is wearing a miniature horse on his back in that pic

So we're back from our summer trip to GenDisc with the feminist bullshit?
About Space Marine: Simplistic, repetitive, boring, definitely not good enough to have its own thread.
