I was under the impression that the Epic Mickey games were closer to what he wanted to do than Deus Ex was. In any case, it's a bummer, I would have really liked an Epic Mickey 3. Maybe he can land a gig with WB and do an homage to the Avery/Clampett era.

I saw the tweet yesterday, and after the horrible reception Epic 2 was met with, I am not the least bit surprised. Oh well, NEXT!

I've been under a similar impression as well especially given Spector's recent remarks in interviews about working with Disney. However, when he first went to Disney he was pitching a spiritual successor to Deus Ex before they asked him to work on Epic Mickey. Anyways, some of these article (although a bit old) discuss some of these matters concerning Spector's spiritual successor among other things.

I hope this doesn't mean that they've cancelled the PC port of Epic Mickey 2, which is probably more or less already complete and waiting for release.

I am surprised you of all people are looking forward to this. It was just terrible. Easily skippable, and it can be RedBoxed for a song.
