Well, I love picking up parts of bodies and hearing them squish, well I did when I first began the game a while ago, it was funny, and the sounds were amazing for a game made in 1998. At the beginning of Cragescleft, I done it with that first body you see..laughed, then preceeded, then I got to the second body....
Needless to say, I didn't play that mission for months. (It was my first time playing Thief, and I'd skipped the briefing about the mines being haunted).
Do you think the first body was there to make some unsuspecting players do that? :P
And does anyone else have moments like that?

The first time I went through that level, I was too focused on the fact that zombies had awesome karate moves for some strange reason.
About the body parts, yeah I threw them around a bit for fun. It was my first run through the game and I was easily amused.:p

Hah, glad to know I'm not the only one that done that :P.
Edit: Hahaha, I never noticed the zombies do karate, but now that you mention it... :P some of the peasants do as well, the hostile ones :P

My answer is yes. I did the same thing and I think most original fans fell for that the *first* time through as well. The Dark Project is full of these elite game design elements. :ebil:

I just ignored the first corpse and tried to walk over the real zombie. It rose up so quick that I jumped off my chair.

lol the second time I did it, I tried sneaking past the zombie, it got up again, so I ran away and landed on the elevator, clicked up, and got up to the top floor, great shortcut, way better than what the walkthrough said.

Aah, the memories :) I managed to avoid the corpses on the first floor, but when I climbed the tunnel up to the fallen bridge I came too close and one corpse jumped up and so did I...
