Yeah, Thor's right, I also wholeheartedly support killing goons. :D

I loved your somewhat creative solution on how to get down the casino. Saw it in a speedrun, eh? ;) That's nice.
Well I saw the speedrun one of you dorks did for the first mission and he did that so I thought it would work here too!

I am a bit concerned, judging by the tone of your commentary at the beginning you are getting fed up with the game.
Well, THIS mission is a pretty damn good excuse.
A few tips on swordplay: keep swinging your sword and moving back. This will most often keep the enemies just out of range, though, so wait for them to swing at you and as they miss, step in a *bit*, hit them then start backing again. Thieves aren't easiest foes to duel and they run away when low on health which is annoying, but with a little practice it's very doable. Personally I wouldn't bother with blocking, it's too unreliable, just move back. And yes, you move slower with your sword out.
Also... if you want to use the blackjack, do realize that the faster you move the more noise you make, and you have to get VERY close to the enemy to blackjack him/her/it. So basically what happens is you run towards an enemy with a blackjack out, except he hears you just before you swing, turns back and sticks a sword(claw, whatever) in your face. There is a sneak button - called Speed Toggle in the config - and to my knowledge, as long as you sneak no AI in the game can hear you*. And even when sneaking you still move faster than most AI walking. Use it, love it. You can always kill the knocked out enemies later if you want to by slashing, drowning or burning them.
* - that depends on the surface you're walking on obviously, but let's take it one step at a time.

Isn't it better to just circle strafe? The enemy won't even attack most of the time ;x
Well, IF Khad gets past this retarded mission, he's likely to finish whole series (well, THC... but it's not that bad compared to Thieves' Guild). Sounds like fun xd

CTJ... monkey on crack won't do there.
But at that point, he might have given in and started to use stealth already.
And
if he gets past CTJ, then he might ragequit when he sees what's the following mission.

Khad, all you need to do is pick him up. If it says "unconscious body" he's alive, if it says "corpse" then he's dead. It's that simple.
You could of course also just read the body language of this NPC object in question. That's the body language of someone who died while he was still alive. Unconcious bodies, or people who died while unconcious, speak a different body language.
With "body language" I mean those fixed corpse/unconcious positions. Since Khad is killing and knocking out so many people, he should've already noticed about these.

I just hate the way people keep vilifying Khad for his 1st Thief playthrough, I seriously doubt you were much better yourselves [and would you have had the courage to upload your videos of your 1st try with Thief?]. Play the game the way you want to or how you prefer, and let others do the same.. I've enjoyed watching all of his videos, and yes, while it isn't really the way I played it, it's still fun to see - if only to prove that the game doesn't have to be 'thieved' all the way through.

He isn't getting vilifyed (is that a word at all?). He's getting scolded for blaming the game for everything single of his own mistakes, that's the point.
If you play some shooter and fail to hit all the time and die all the time, do you then blame your own ineptitude or the game? If you're an illiterate, want to read a book but obviously can't do it, do you then blame the book or your own ineptitude?
Watch the Bafford episode again and count the times he's cursing the game for whenever he screwed up.
Newbie, noob and kacknoob are just differently flavoured words for newcomer. Someone new to something. Which he is.
Yes, kacknoob and noob are pejorative, but he deserved these because of the attitude towards the game, at least in the first couple of his episodes.

You'd be surprised. At the very least most people played it like a stealth game, not some kind of after midnight safari.

It is a (
http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/vilify) word. Anyway, the blaming, the angry behaviour, sudden deaths and yelling are all part of the charm and fun.
I agree that most have played it more stealthily than he is currently, but am I wrong to assume all us taffers have, at some point, attempted a gameplay similar to Khad's (i.e the running around, slashing everyone)? If only due to the anger of not being able to sneak past a guard unnoticed countless times (and then reloading and trying it again of course - it's what us 'pros' do after all :D)..
I remember just yesterday I was trying to mantle up a wall, where a guard was standing (in A Night in Rocksbourg) and was so pissed off, cause I couldn't manage it.. and there was the no kills requirement/objective.. just after a while I couldn't stop myself from arming with a fire arrow and shooting him in the stomach :P Then reloaded again a couple of times and did it. Quite entertaining indeed.
