That he is blaming the game is what makes it so funny. This is comedy, please don't ruin it by getting all serious.

Yeah but that's... lame. :erg:
Well, one can always say that relying on swordplay in Thief is already lame, so...

By the way,

Downwinders part one is available, and it's the worst so far - thanks to you guys! (Well, you and your counterparts at SA.)
Because of you it's pretty much "I don't care about anything anymore because I quicksave every two seconds, and this particular mission is crap anyway."

Wow....that was painful to watch
I don't know what you guys are on about. This is maybe even the best part yet. Getting into trouble within 10 seconds and surviving the fight with 1 HP was brilliant. I can't believe he managed to open that door with a frying pan, yet even though he had nothing else left to do it didn't occur to him to use a rope arrow on the elevator. Blackjacking the 1 HP guard to death and thinking he knocked him unconscious made me laugh really hard. The moss arrow silliness was hilarious.

Wasn't there a key for the door he opened with the frying pan? On a table? I remember 2 keys there, one he took, but the other one seemed to have escaped his notice.. :P

Unlike quick-saving every 30 seconds!
Thor on 4/7/2010 at 16:26
I sometimes enjoy just taking out a broadhead arrow and making a guard fall down from it in 1 hit by a headshot i laugh for a few seconds until it shows I failed the mission and get all serious again.
Just because the game allows the option.
Anyway, where is the new part? I'm kind of anxious...

Agreed. It
is silly.
Thor on 4/7/2010 at 16:53
yeah. I think the optimal way to quicksave is in certain points where you've made progress of some sort and feel like redoing all that over again would be dull.
Vantek on 6/7/2010 at 09:55
Yes.
With that approach, I end up quicksaving... every 30 seconds.
