P.S. bob_doe_nz, I love your New Zealandian VS Aussies war. I watched Flight of the Conchords and I don't think there was a single episode where they didn't somehow insult Australians. XD Never got it why your country hates that country, but it's fun humor for an insane outsider like me.
It's more or less the two countries copying stuff off each other and claiming they had it first.
e.g
Our national flags

Then again, he's a USian, so he's a retard by default until proven otherwise, so i guess i shouldnt be too surprised.
Never heard that one before...
Anyway, watching Khad miss the silver nugget in the fire/face room was maddening!

Khad made a positive comment. :wot:
This is a momentous day.
Regarding the question 'why is killing the the wrong way to play?' the clue is in the title. The game's called Thief, not Thug. I think killing is allowed (plus mines etc) because LGS weren't sure how the idea of stealth would go down, so they left a choice.

Actually, I think he's improved a lot. He takes it more slowly, tries to test stuff out, explores more...
He still misses a Lot of loot, and his technique is rough, and he discards whole explorable areas... but he uses shadows more effectively, tries to lure guards into traps, utilises most items ... it's a lot different from the slash-em-up in Bafford's manor.
Khad, the 'ghost' rules are simply for extra challenge for those who want to, just like how you tried to kill everyone on the last level.

Him owning 4 guards was glorious. Also the reaction to the space room. :D
Him complementing the mission was so anticlimatical it was creepy.
Overall - well worth my time. But that doesn't say much. My time isn't worth anything.

So can any thief lore nerds (if they exist on SA) tell me whether the book about Tatyana's flowers
is an explanation for gas arrows and whatnot later in the game ? No, it's about
controlling The Eye as it's a sentient rock

Wow, I never made that connection. Dammmn.

Wasn't it so that there weren't supposed to be any killings in the game, but they kind of freaked out that's too hardcore for an FPS?
Also, if I remember correctly, Thief started out as a swordfighting game.
Finally, on Expert you can't kill any
humans. There's a whole lot of more enemies in the game than humans Khad, as you'll find out yourself in the next mission.
