Thing is though, I actually liked the most recent entry (despite hating 3). It had an excellent(and good looking) game world, while watch dogs' Chicago looks very drab....I'm also not seeing much gameplay wise to differentiate it from, well....anything. Everything about the gameplay that's not hacking looks poor.

Yeah (http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/watch-dogs) a bunch of reviews are starting to come in. I watched streams of people playing it on PS4's videosharing thing yesterday and promptly ordered it. Should have it in a few days.

I have it. It's every game Ubisoft has released since the first Assassin's Creed. So I guess YMMV. Actually, scratch that, it's just Assassin's Creed without the parts where you relive the memories of your ancestors. I guess YMMV if you like things that are really dull.
