Hey henke, is there anything out there that you
don't like?
BSI
Rise of the Triad remake
Pac-man
And that's it.

How could you not like Pac-Man.

I first played it in the late 80's, so granted it was probably a decade after it first came out, but I never understood the hooplah about it. It's just not that good, guys!

Heathen!
Well, okay, I'm ambivalent on Pac-Man, but that's really only because it didn't have a protagonist I could root for, or any story justification for what it's about. Basically this obese dude who's practically all mouth goes around eating all the things in a labyrinth while ghosts randomly intersect his path and he tries to avoid them, but he can eat a special pill that lets him eat the ghosts but it lasts for only like 10 seconds? I mean, wtf. Was the creator really fat? Is this symbology for how you can eat your problems away? Only in Japan could this have been created and not be inspired by a drug-induced fever dream.
henke also doesn't like art games, but I'm sure he probably would if they had 4x4s or trucks in them that let you run over the narrative. Hell, I think most of us would.

I also don't care for Pac-Man. But then I've never played a Metal Gear game so what do I know?
dethtoll can only have meant one person. Our resident game hater -Eva.

FYI, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+ was the best game to be released on Steam last year.

Whaaaateeeeever.
Anyway, Jason, you should totally get Watch Dogs. It has (are you sitting down?) a cockpit cam! Yes! A first for sandbox games set in a big city, as far as I know. And I should know, pretty sure I've played just about everything in this genre. Just cruising the streets of Chicago while listening to blues is so moody. And when you get chased by cops you can pull into an alley and turn your engine off. When you peer over the steeringwheel out the window and see the cops rolling by on the street outside with their searchlights scanning you'll feel like Ryan Gosling at the beginning of Drive. It's so good. :D

I have it on Uplay. It's ok. I will give it some more time per you recommendation, though, esteemed sir.
And I wasn't kidding. I dunno why PMCEDX+ isn't something owned/loved by everyone because it's amazing (and the complete package has repeatedly been on sale since it came out).
