Do you mean a real phone or the ingame phone? Either way I don't know. I would have got this on PC with the new gfx mod but I've found out that you can't use mouse and keyboard only a controller. WTF? Who designed this crap?

Whatever became of the online feature whereby people could use a phone / tablet app to interact with other people's games? Was that just for consoles?
Are you thinking of Tom Clancy's The Division? I know that has tablet/phone integration into the live game.

Nope, definitely Watch Dogs. There was some way that people who had the phone / tablet app could patch into other people's games and fuck with them somehow, while the person on the console tried to outsmart them. My memory is vague and google isn't helping.

I think this was in last year's E3 presentation (though it might have been another conference).

Yeah the iOS game is definitely a thing. I downloaded it on my iPad this morning when you mentioned it, faetal. Will give it a spin tonight.

Ah, cool. I remember thinking it sounded like it might be good if it worked well.

Gave the iOS thing a spin. It's a gamemode where you control a police helicopter and have to chase a player in a car and put up obstacles while he tries to run a checkpoint race through the city. Eh... it's an interesting idea but not all that fun. I imagine the player down in the car is having a good time though.
