That video made me realize how much I hate forced third-person perspective. And 100% canned "takedowns".

How is that cutscene triggered if you opt to do the mission in a different way?
The one at the end? The target is on the floor and the assassin is standing over him. I imagine it would work wherever there's enough floorspace. The animation of the assassin pulling him out of the car is probably a standard animation/move that you can pull on anyone in a car, so it hasn't neccessarily been made just for that one scene.

Colour me as excited as Henke about this.

I can't really figure out what sort of game it's trying to be- it looks like someone took GTA4, added a bunch of admittedly really cool hacking features, and then demoed an assassination mission. That's neat, but I feel like I need to see more to understand what exactly the game has to offer.
That was exactly my reaction. I was impressed but equally confused by what the game is actually supposed to be gameplay-wise.

It's modern day Assassin's Creed obviously. I fail to see what's confusing about it.

Never played AssCreed.

I just started AsCree last night as I have the first three games and still never completed the first.
Loving the game, ignoring those collectible flags though. Fuck those flags.
As you were.

Just had a watch of the game play video and that looks awesome. If they bring that out on PC I'll definitely be getting that one.
Nice little mix of GTA, Assassin's Creed + Deus Ex (with the hacking). Very impressed.

It's Ubisoft. Sure you want that PC version?
icemann on 15/6/2012 at 15:52
Considering the DRM very true. I was just thinking along the lines of wanting a digital copy rather than a physical one as I'm running out of room to put all the games these days.

The footage shown at E3 was of the PC build. Ditto for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Far Cry 3, Crysis 3, BF3 expansion and Medal of Honour: Warfighter.
Yes, PC versions are the new "target renders"/"bullshots".
